Rutgers Accelerated Nursing- Fall 2015 (Newark)

Wow, seems like no one is applying here or maybe we just have a lot of readers. In any case i hope to apply for the accelerated nursing program for Fall 2015. originally, it was to be Spring 2016 because i haven't finished prereqs but I'm hoping to be done next spring (of 2015) and hoping they extend the deadline. Anyone else?!!

Called this morning, and no surprise decisions are still not made. "Hopefully within another week or so." I don't know about you guys but Rutgers is really going on with bull, there is something that they are not telling is why it is taking so long. At this point it's either give up on the other schools and hope rutgers doesn't cancel their program or forget about rutgers. Smh

Thanks for the update. This is really disappointing and frustrating. I don't understand why it's taking so long. They've had many of the applications for months now. You might be right. They might have something else going on that isn't being said.

It is crazy... I know it's worst for u guys since u don't have an exact notification date... I applied to the traditional program... we were supposed to get notified yesterday and no one did .

Just spoke to them, they said they are finalizing decisions now and hope to mail them out the beginning of next week.

I think we should all call and see if they give us other information.

I just called too, the woman on the other end seemed happy to actually have some information for me. She told me the same thing she told the rest of you. Hopefully once the admissions dept gets the decisions they'll try to process them quickly so we stop calling!

At at least you guys can check our status online. They said by the end of today, your decisions will be out (for taditional). They said they didn't meet the deadline.

Hello all!!

So I literally just got off the phone with the admissions department. They said that the reviews/decisions are coming to a close soon. They are expecting to get the decisions out this week (no specific date) However, he did say that a copy of the letter that is being sent out snail mail will be sent via e-mail as well.

That's excellent! I'm glad they're emailing out the letters. I'm looking at apartments this weekend for another school so finding out this week would be great.
