Rutgers Accelerated Nursing- Fall 2015 (Newark)

Wow, seems like no one is applying here or maybe we just have a lot of readers. In any case i hope to apply for the accelerated nursing program for Fall 2015. originally, it was to be Spring 2016 because i haven't finished prereqs but I'm hoping to be done next spring (of 2015) and hoping they extend the deadline. Anyone else?!!

I cant wait soooo long to find out. I thought 2 weeks after June 1 they will send letters. Also, will it be emailed or snail mail?

The admissions committee is meeting on Monday June 8th. They will be using "snail mail" unfortunately. Hopefully we will hear back soon. This waiting is killing me!

I spoke to them last friday and they said that the meeting on June 8th was pushed off for possibly a week, AHHHH

Also, they said that f the decisions are late in June, they will scan the letter that they are mailing to you so we will not have to wait for the snail mail

Yeah I just called, they did not even start reviewing yet, and they are hoping by the end of June to mail out decisions. Omg. I am really getting so turned off. Things need to be done and it's going to be so rushed if they take this long to tell us. This is probably my sign.í ½í¸”

I agree with SweetDream. This decision making process seems like its going to take so long and I was already accepted into another program at Seton Hall and there are so many things that needs to get done before the semester starts. If Rutgers requirements are anything like Seton Hall's it not enough time to get everything done in a timely manner. Hopefully it doesn't take as long to hear back from them as it seems it will take.

I also applied for the fall semester and this waiting game is really killing me. I am so nervous!! But at the same time, the thought of starting nursing school is really getting me excited. Best of luck to all of us.

According to the office they started reviewing. Decisions will be mailed in 2-4weeks from now (not the deadline as stated before). *sigh* I read old forums and they got decisions way before this! I just think they don't receive as much applicants as they want it to seem.

It's getting really frustrating that we haven't heard back yet. I have to relocate to another state for the other program I got accepted to. I want to start looking at apartments but I can't really do anything until I find out what's going on with Rutgers. I wish it would have been on a rolling basis like the previous years!
