Rutgers Accelerated Nursing- Fall 2015 (Newark)

Wow, seems like no one is applying here or maybe we just have a lot of readers. In any case i hope to apply for the accelerated nursing program for Fall 2015. originally, it was to be Spring 2016 because i haven't finished prereqs but I'm hoping to be done next spring (of 2015) and hoping they extend the deadline. Anyone else?!!

They have a nursing calender on the website. I think it's like the first week of September (2/3rd). Not sure about the financial aid stuff. I think it's gonna be mostly loans because as 2nd degree students, we aren't eligible for many scholarships. Decisions go out soooo late, and it's uncertain so it's really hard to wait for rutgers, if you do that's pretty much your eggs in the basket.

Today is the final deadline! The real waiting and nail biting begins...

I spoke with someone at admissions. The school will be sending letters out in the mail after the admissions committee meets. Hopefully we will hear back soon! Good luck to everyone

Do you guys know if there will be a new brunswick campus as well? I applied to both campuses, but I know they have combined the two in the past.

I think it depends on how many applicants they have and how many people enroll.

The current cohort in Newark is 65. Last year the both campus cohorts were combined. As said it depends on number of applicants, enrollment and faculty availability.

I also applied and waiting to here back ... it seems that they get back to you in 3 to 4 weeks from June 1st based on other threads... Just thinking that in 3 short months we can start nursing school is wild. Best of Luck to Everyone!

I cant wait soooo long to find out. I thought 2 weeks after June 1 they will send letters. Also, will it be emailed or snail mail?
