I wanted to create a post for students who applied to Rutgers summer2021 ABSN program. I am anxiously awaiting a response. I applied in September but had all my documents in around December. I saw in previous post that people submitted their basic life support certificate but I didn't see an option for that.
I graduated with a bachelors in cell and molecular biology recently, I volunteered as an EMT in the past and did research.
my stats are 3.5 GPA
A&P1: A
A&P2: A
Micro: A
Statistics: A
Chem2: B+
Nutrition: A-
lifespan: A
I also took biochem and got a C
I would love to hear about you guys (past and future student). also does anyone know how FAFSA would work for this program since it starts in the Summer, or how do you guys plan to pay?
Nope. Admissions told me we will know by April 15th which I don’t think is fair considering the semester starts the following month, allowing very little time to prepare

That's what I read as well! Whoever answered the email seemed very snippy and in a bad mood so I didn't bring that up to them as to not push their buttons further.

OK so im annoying and went on the nursing chat that they have on the ABSN page. The person I spoke to said they started rolling out decisions this Monday and will try to have them all out by the first week of March.

Are they saying we will hear back on April 15th or just the latest by April 15th but we can get a decision letter sooner than that?
They’re saying the latest is April 15th. I believe most people will hear back by the end of March. I think they say April 15th for people who are waitlisted and are waiting to hear if anyone has dropped their acceptance spot
And to those who got accepted, did y’all receive an email saying that the status of the application changed or did you keep checking the application status?
