Hello everyone,
I wanted to create a post for students who applied to Rutgers summer2021 ABSN program. I am anxiously awaiting a response. I applied in September but had all my documents in around December. I saw in previous post that people submitted their basic life support certificate but I didn't see an option for that.
I graduated with a bachelors in cell and molecular biology recently, I volunteered as an EMT in the past and did research.
my stats are 3.5 GPA
A&P1: A
A&P2: A
Micro: A
Statistics: A
Chem2: B+
Nutrition: A-
lifespan: A
I also took biochem and got a C
I would love to hear about you guys (past and future student). also does anyone know how FAFSA would work for this program since it starts in the Summer, or how do you guys plan to pay?
good luck to you guys!
Does anyone know our expected graduation date?
I was also accepted to NYU's ABSN program and their expected graduation date is May 2023... Which left me really surprised (although it does start in September and not May like this program). This has me really thinking about what I should do.

I not 100% sure (assuming we'll find out in May at orientation) but my thought was that it would go through August/September 2022 (15 months / 4 semesters - Summer/Fall/Spring/Summer). But I may be wrong. either way I do recall seeing NYU's program seemed a bit longer...
Hi all! Just catching up on the thread! I was recently admitted! I’m excited and nervous at the same time. Does any one have any idea of what the schedule will look like or how long each level will be? Spoke to someone in the office who said the first level will be fully virtual minus the clinical but I’m wondering what it will be like back in person. I would rather stay virtual, ugh. Also, I read a few people talking about the deposit I got the email today with all the Initial things we have to get done but never saw anything about the deposits. Where did you all see that can someone send the link to me. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Congrats!!
Re: deposit, I had a notification on my admissions status page (the same screen you checked to see your acceptance status) that popped up once you click "Enroll Now". It's down near the bottom, $150.
That's good intel about the virtual classes - frankly I'd rather stay virtual for everything but the hands-on stuff as well, it's so much easier to manage my life that way! ?
Is anyone still waiting to hear back? I am still waiting. My status page went from “in process” to your application is being processed and your status page will be available in 2 business days back on 2-19. Ugh ??♀️ when I finally heard back from someone yesterday they responded... when did you apply?
I would just answer them and then follow up in a few days especially now since it’s past the “ deadline” I know they asked me about a prerequisite I asked for confirmation that it was acceptable I heard nothing and that was almost a month ago and then got the email I got in last Tuesday. If you haven’t heard contact the office.
