I wanted to create a post for students who applied to Rutgers summer2021 ABSN program. I am anxiously awaiting a response. I applied in September but had all my documents in around December. I saw in previous post that people submitted their basic life support certificate but I didn't see an option for that.
I graduated with a bachelors in cell and molecular biology recently, I volunteered as an EMT in the past and did research.
my stats are 3.5 GPA
A&P1: A
A&P2: A
Micro: A
Statistics: A
Chem2: B+
Nutrition: A-
lifespan: A
I also took biochem and got a C
I would love to hear about you guys (past and future student). also does anyone know how FAFSA would work for this program since it starts in the Summer, or how do you guys plan to pay?
@KimP21 I think you are right. I asked multiple times and they told me I did not have to submit it until I found out if I got in or not. So I think in terms of the CPR we are fine still. Just have to submit it after the acceptance.

@Whit80 there is a fb group but I'm not sure if its active I requested to join a while ago and still didn't get a response, its called "Rutgers Newark ABSN class of 2022"
My acceptance just came through a couple minutes ago. Phew. This was the craziest waiting game but it was totally worth it! Can’t wait to meet you all in a few weeks!!
