  1. Hi! I'm interviewing for an MICU position and was wondering if you could let me know what questions they asked you? I heard the nurse manager is a bit rough for the ICU.
  2. @Gurvinder Singh hi! Do you know when orientation usually is held? We’ve been in the dark with information regarding the program due to lack of emails on the schools part. Also, do you have a student handbook that you could share? Im very appreciative of how helpful you’ve been to everyone in this thread. Thank you so much.
  3. hi everyone! I made a fb group for the fall 2021 cohort and am linking it below because I see a few people who have recently been accepted have posted in this group. Feel free to join! https://www.facebook.com/groups/308164244112145/
  4. You only need to submit recommendation letters.
  5. Hi everyone! If any of the current ABSN students could please share the student handbook with me I’d really appreciate it! I tried to look all over Google and I just can’t find it. Here’s my email: [email protected] thank you!!
  6. I’m a little concerned. I didn’t get that email....
  7. I'm just hoping theyre not messing with us and saying its 12 months when they know it'll probably end up changing to 15 ?. They need to stop playing games and send out these letters soon! NJCU is the last school I'm waiting on.
  8. Did you go there for undergrad? I’d love to hear what your thoughts are ? !!
  9. I emailed a woman from admissions asking about the length of the program, and she said it is currently on track to be 12 months (3 semesters). It was switched to 4 semesters due to covid, but theyre not having any issues at the moment so thankfully it'll be the normal 3 semesters! I just checked their 2020-2021 tution costs and it seems like tuition has gone down (most likely due to the insane decline in college attendance right now) to $ 8,998.50! Very happy about that. Thats including fees too! So the cost for 3 semesters will be 27,000. I'm willing to pay the additional 2k because I have this gut feeling telling me I'll be happier there. The campus looks beautiful and from what I've heard, the professors are kind-hearted and understanding of how difficult the program is.
  10. Thanks! ? I personally have not heard the greatest things about Saint Peters nursing programs. I’m assuming the ABSN will be similar, but in a more fast paced setting, which is why I’m leaning towards NJCU. Also, from what I’ve seen it’s the cheapest. What makes you say Saint Peters is cheaper? What I read if NJCU is roughly 30k for the program and they offer some form of financial aid. I think I read saint peters is 36k and they offer no financial aid. I haven’t attended an info session yet but I really should.
  11. I exclusively got loans, so I didn’t even bother doing the scholarship application. I don’t need more loans and I certainly am not willing to pay the entire $56k this school costs ?
  12. When I emailed them they only gave me a vague timeline of 4-6 weeks after the application deadline of feb 28th
  13. I haven’t heard anything. I have a feeling we won’t know until the end of March the way they’re moving so slowly
  14. It’s just through NursingCas. I emailed them asking when decisions would be out and they said even the decision comes in through a NursingCAS email, not an NJCU specific email address.
  15. Congrats!! I was also accepted! I didn’t realize Saint Peters was right up the street from NJCU. My fingers are still crossed for NJCU tho!
