Hello everyone,
I wanted to create a post for students who applied to Rutgers summer2021 ABSN program. I am anxiously awaiting a response. I applied in September but had all my documents in around December. I saw in previous post that people submitted their basic life support certificate but I didn't see an option for that.
I graduated with a bachelors in cell and molecular biology recently, I volunteered as an EMT in the past and did research.
my stats are 3.5 GPA
A&P1: A
A&P2: A
Micro: A
Statistics: A
Chem2: B+
Nutrition: A-
lifespan: A
I also took biochem and got a C
I would love to hear about you guys (past and future student). also does anyone know how FAFSA would work for this program since it starts in the Summer, or how do you guys plan to pay?
good luck to you guys!
@Vanessa Espin yes I meant the re-enrôlement application haha
okay same here. Still waiting but hopefully I hear back soon.
I’m a bit worried cuz last week they told me that I didn’t have all my documents when I sent them all to them. I think because one of my transcripts were unofficial but I was only able to mail it to them not email it.
hopefully we all hear back before or on March 15th tbh
@Vanessa Espin Oh wow!! Phew! Okay that’s good to know but also why did it happen ?
They didn’t tell me it was a mistake but I had to explain to them why one of my transcripts were unofficial transcripts
Just now, KimP21 said:I feel like we won’t hear back till the 15th or after ? since its 4 weeks from the deadline.
I also have a pending class. Well it’s the CLEP exam for lifespan. Did anyone on here take it? And how was it?
I took the CLEP exam in January! It wasn't easy, but it wasn't horrible. I read the REA study guide and took a bunch of practice exams, did some Quizlet flashcards, and that seemed to do the trick. I also have two little kids so had some lived experience too ?

@KimP21 Thank you! I applied through the re-enrollment so I think that the returning students application. And I haven't still heard back from them yet.
