Rutgers ABSN Spring 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Hey, decided to make a thread since I haven’t seen anyone make one yet. Thought it would be better than to just keep stretching out the 2019 thread. Drop a question below if you have any.

Never heard of it. Are you a re enrolled student? Or new to the school. I’m a re enrolled student which means I graduated from there and I don’t see anything that you are stating.

Hey. I am new to the school. I called, and they said they may or may not have it this semester. Basically, its a 2 week "refresher" to key A+P points, etc....

They said to await an email that should be coming soon, and that the semester begins Jan 20 or so.

Hope that helps.

Hi i am a recently accepted student for the Camden ABSN program Spring 2020. Does anyone know the exact amount of the term bill for the Spring 2020 semester? I'm unable to see mine yet and wanted to see around how much I'll be spending with the award letter added. Also since I was recently accepted does anyone know how long it took the academic adviser to reach out to them regarding the immunizations, CPR etc. I am a re-enrolled student so not much has been given to me.

I’m also a re enrolled student! Congrats! It’s gonna be around 7800 a semester. Meaning 7800 times four. Since we already have bachelors degrees we are not eligible for grants (Pell, tag). They will send an email about immunizations. I talked with someone on Monday and they will be shortly sending us an email with orientation date. CPR is not a requirement. But if you have it already that’s a plus (which I do). Good luck!

Emails for course schedule was sent out this week! Tuesday through Friday. Just 3 days off. It's better than nothing. At least weekends are free. I am enrolled at the Newark campus

what are the hours ?

Rutgers Camden---

Looks like Orientation is on the 13th/14th (Monday/Tuesday) next week.

Have you guys heard anything else? Met with an academic advisor?

Im a little concerned about the lack of contact from the school...

Girl I feel you. We will find out everything on those days. It’s from 8-4 and make sure you register for the white coat ceremony from the email. Also make sure you get your shots done.

I mean, it sounds like the white coat ceremony isnt mandatory? I dont really understand what it really is...can you explain?

Yeah it’s not mandatory but it is nice. You can google it, it’s when they indite you into the program and you get a white coat, like a doctor.

Can someone from RU Camden who is a re-enrolled student explain to me the exact process of what is needed once an academic advisor reaches out to you regarding immunizations etc? I was accepted in early December and I have yet to have any academic advisor reach out to me about my immunizations or any other necessary documents. I just sent them an email but I am concerned because the orientation is next week and I can’t imagine they missed this.

Hey! I went to the Rutgers immunization portal and uploaded my lab work. It is still pending. Check out this link :

It gives you what is required...or at least that is what I am going with since we haven't got much to work with.

It is still pending until the health services nurse approves of it. I called and a woman checked all of mine off. The orientation will cover all information. By the way I am a re enrolled student as well.
