Rutgers ABSN Spring 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey, decided to make a thread since I haven’t seen anyone make one yet. Thought it would be better than to just keep stretching out the 2019 thread. Drop a question below if you have any.

Ok, so from what I gather, outside of orientation and immunizations, nothing has been established yet? Like, you guys don’t have your class schedule or met with advisors yet, right??

can people from the other campuses tell us what’s to expect the first few weeks? Thanks!

No our classes haven’t been populated yet. —Camden

Yea we got schedules at NB

Specializes in None.

For the people about to start in Newark campus, does it say anywhere where are classrooms are in our schedules. Also, am I the only one who only has 2 classes listed on canvas? I also have none of my classes listed on my blackboard. Wondering if anyone else having the same issues.

For those of you in the program, what is the total cost ? If you’re living off campus and opt out of the health insurance.

That was including books too? I just got accepted and I'm trying to figure out how much I'm going to have to take out in loans. ?

When did you apply?

It cost me around 35,000. That’s basically with only the classes calculated. You need to get a specific laptop that can run their programs. Buy uniform tops. A student pin. And of course the books and online access. Also need to purchase Castlebranch for $200. Any physicals or shot you need to get done too. It can be costly.

Is this with on site housing too?

Also financial aid depends on if your independent and dependent: so I would confirm with the monetary limit based on that!

That price is off campus.

With housing it's more money.
