Nursing Students School Programs

Hey, decided to make a thread since I haven’t seen anyone make one yet. Thought it would be better than to just keep stretching out the 2019 thread. Drop a question below if you have any.

What kind of laptop?? I just got a new one a few months ago. I start in May

Specializes in None.

Any laptop is fine. As long as it’s not a dinosaur

Hey has anyone taken the Organic Biochemistry prerequisite at Brookdale or know exactly what that course code might be at Brookdale? Brookdale has an inorganic, organic, biochemistry course but I don’t know if that will transfer. I asked admissions at Rutgers and of course they’re no help... thanks.

Just take gen chem 2 if they offer it with the lab.

You do need a specific laptop that can run certain program that will be needed for nursing exams because they are completed on a computer. You can access the type of required computers on Rutgers website or type into a search engine Rutgers Newark, Camden, New Brunswick, laptop requirements! Hope that helps.

if You’re New Jersey you can use a system called my NJ transfer I believe and it will give you the equivalent classes that are accepted throughout NJ universities and colleges. I would suggest going to your school website and making sure the class you’re taking is transferable. You do not want to waste time and money on taking a class that might not be transferred of even necessary! Hope this helps.

Does anyone remember when you received your schedule/clinical days? I’ve seen that you get class schedule on orientation but does that include clinical? Also is the day you’re assigned for clinical totally random? And how soon do you start, half way through Level 1?

sorry for so many questions!! Just trying to get an idea of how little I’ll be able to work and plan financially for the upcoming 15 months or so. Any info is much appreciated!
