For those who have applied or are interested in applying to Rush University's Generalist Entry Master's (GEM) Program, I'm here starting a thread so that we can get to know one another and keep each other informed throughout the application process.
I submitted my application December 20th through NursingCAS and completed the supplemental application on the morning of December 21st.
I was e-mailed almost 3 hours after I submitted my supplemental application for an invite to interview for the month following the application deadline (February) since the deadline is January 4th.
Has anyone else already received an invite for an interview?
I'm coming from Bay Area CA, so I'm hesitant as I'm quite unfamiliar with the area. I've heard Chicago is an awesome city to live in, so please feel free to chime in on your experiences with this area as well as I'd love to hear about it. Also, if there are any people currently going through this program, any comments/advice would be much appreciated!
thanks guys! Rush is definitely my No.1, but at I really like Elmhurst College as well and wouldn't mind going there if not accepted at Rush. Comparing to other schools, Elmhurst accepts only 24 students so there's a lot of one on one time wit professors and they really get to know you...and it is considerably cheaper...So I'm excited to know this is happening for sure...and that I can finally quit my job :)
I know how you feel! No, no news from DePaul yet. I don't even know what to think after they have messed up my application. I hope that was sorted out but I have not received any affirmation.
I know the feeling! What do you plan on doing Corey? I personally think it was my undergrad GPA of 3.3. I have great recommendations and 4.0 on all cprereqs, my interview was really good. I think they were not able to see past the numbers.
