@thearizonanurse you won’t be disappointed. I am so excited about the interview. What should I expect? Any words of advice? Also, Baltimore is such a great location. You can go to DC, Philly, the Delaware and Jersey shores, NYC, and Boston all by quick trips! You’ll love it. I’m excited, I love Philadelphia but I can’t pass up this opportunity. 🙂

@thearizonanurse That is so crazy. I think it definitely depends on if your state has an active stay at home order or not. I personally will go wherever I can to take the test, even if I have to travel to California. Hopefully this fiasco will be over in the future. I’ve been to Baltimore several times since I’ve lived in Philly the last 8 years. It’s an amazing city with the best crab cakes ever! There are so many neighborhoods. It’s very similar to Philadelphia.

It sounds like both of you guys can’t go wrong! 🙂 I just turned down Vanderbilt in Nashville when they told me the low salary. Money isn’t everything but sure is something. 🙂

@nurselife2020 thank you. I am really looking forward to it. I hope my 2 years as a tech in the ICU will pay off for me, especially working in the ICU during this pandemic. I honestly really want the fantastic experience and it’s a short move away from Philadelphia. 🙂 what unit did you get accepted for? CONGRATS 🎉

How long did it take you to hear back after your interview? I’m so very excited. There’s also a separate meeting for discussion about benefits, salary, etc.. I wonder if Hopkins offers any form of relocation assistance. I’m so very excited and grateful for the opportunity and hope that everyone else does well!

I Get Interviews But No Jobs

Thank you Nurse Beth. I really appreciate this wonderful advice! I also have a social work background. I am loving nursing school so far. I decided to pursue nursing because I am very caring and compassionate/kind, which so many in the criminal justice field are not. Thanks again.
