  1. Congratulations to all of us...has anyone received email to start pre-school health screening and fingerprinting for the La Salle CRNA program starting in Jan 2025 ? Does anyone have idea about the tuition loan and how to go about it? FAFSA or other lenders? Your response will be appreciated. My email: [email protected]
  2. @StudentMurse24 Big congratulations to you. We are both starting at La Salle cum 2025. I'd like to connect with you. This is my email [email protected]
  3. @Pelumi Oyenuga For a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from Nigeria to work in the USA, the following requirements must generally be met: Educational Evaluation: Have your Nigerian nursing education evaluated by a credentialing agency recognized by the U.S. nursing boards (e.g., CGFNS - Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools). Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure: Obtain a U.S. RN license. This involves: Passing the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses). Meeting the specific state board of nursing requirements where you plan to practice. CRNA Certification: You must complete a CRNA program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) in the U.S. Nigerian CRNA certification or education is not directly transferable. After completing the accredited program, you must pass the National Certification Examination (NCE) administered by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Experience and Additional Requirements: Some CRNA programs may require clinical nursing experience, particularly in critical care settings. You may need to obtain a visa that permits you to work in the U.S., such as an H-1B visa for skilled workers or other employment-based visas. English Proficiency: If English is not your first language, you may need to demonstrate proficiency in English, often through tests like TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). It is important to check the specific requirements of the state board of nursing where you intend to work, as they can vary. 4o
  4. Hi rm0013, I think they conducted interview for the last group in May. Received offer letter last week. New application for 2026 will open in September 2024.
  5. Hi colleagues, wondering if anyone who interviewed in April and May at for LaSalle Nurse Anesthesia program has officially received offer letter.
  6. Hi Scarlet Rose & @eAZyRN Congratulations . I'm excited for both of you. Did you receive the offer in your email or you were called by the Director? I received a call I have been accepted yesterday, but yet to receive the official email from La Salle.
  7. Hello dear, I just applied for Post BSN-DNP ACNP program, and I am willing to pursue a PhD in neuroscience that relates to neurosurgery/neurocritical care, like the one you did. My question is, has this PhD neuroscience with your focus better prepared you in your specialty than a NP without PhD neuroscience? Second, do I need to have MSc in Neuroscience as a requirement to enroll for PhD Neuroscience? How many years is the PhD neuroscience on the average? Thank you
  8. I am a Nigerian, sat down for NCLEX-RN on October 13, 2017 in Manila, saw the good pop up on Pearson Vue Trick, and QUIK RESULT said 'PASS'. The status on the Colorado website has changed from 'NCLEX RESULTS SUBMITTED' to 'FNAL REVIEW'. It is 8 working days now but it s still saying 'FINAL REVIEW/PENDING'. How long does it take COBON to post license online and to mail official result?
  9. Hello honourable colleagues, I wrote my NCLEX-RN on October 13, checked quick result and saw that I passed. I registered with Colorado Board of Nursing. Up till today, I'm yet to see my license number updated on their website. It is 8 working days now. How long does it take COBON to post license online?
  10. hi everyone, I signed contract with avant on December 1st, 2016 after skype interview and online exams were done. I have then been given links to upload my documents including forms for the referees which has been done. I was told my documents will be moved to CREDENTIALING OFFICE. After this, what is the next process? and when will nclex review program actually start? thanks
