  1. Crescendo88, im really happy for you. Congrats! My number is much closer now as well and im curious to see if it ever gets to me. I didnt expect that it would move so much!
  2. Yes, that's a great idea! Congratulations on your acceptance! Let us know how to find the group on fb.
  3. Congrats!!! Hope to meet you soon!
  4. That souns great Amanda! My name is Vesna.
  5. No worries. Will keep you posted. I just thought it would be nice to meet. That's all.
  6. Amandag91, are you maybe coming to the information session this Saturday?
  7. My undrestanding is that those 4320 are only the differential + the base price which is a litlle over 5000 per semester and when you add snout 2000 in various fees, that tots 12k per semestar for in state tuition....making UIC most expensive or just about the same as Rush and Depaul and way more expensive than Elmhurst.
  8. It was quite quick. The deadline was Jan 31, and I had my interview on Feb 23 and a decission on March 2. It is significantly more affordable than Rush...both grant MSN. I talked to people fron DePaul, also awards MS not MSN and they didnt have problems finding jobs...I dont know, seems that pracixally the difference is negligible.
  9. Yes, UIC was granting MS and Elmhurst MSN. I cannot confirm that this changed. Anyways, congrats on your admission! Hope to meet you soon :)
  10. The cohort size is what I like about this school most. However, I was in touch with some people from last cohort and they started out with 18 in first semestrr and in 2nd they are down to 12!
  11. Short. Like 20 mins.
  12. That's great, Corey! I'm really happy for you. I was thinking to reapply for Winter but have decided to go with Elmhurst College instead. It's really nice to know that we all eventually got what we wanted, maybe not our Choice #1, but, hey, not everybody can go to Harvard, right?
  13. Questions were to see if you understand the role of a proffesional nurse and what is currently changing in nursing, then why you think you'd fit in this proffesion. And since its CNL some questions were about leadership, like what it means to you and how you deal with conflicts, etc. It was abit awkward bc there was no feed back, it wasnt a conversation, just more of questio-answer format of interview. Good luck!
  14. .....or your recommendations...and maybe have someone read your essey, just in case...
  15. What I have found out by talking to people who actually got excepted is that all of them had GPSas of at least 3.6 and at least some medical experience they all have their CNA's and minimum of three months working as a CNA's
