Rush GEM Fall 2021

Hello! I haven't seen a thread for Rush yet, fall 21 entry to the generalist entry masters program. I applied earlier this fall and received an interview invite a week or two later. Looking to connect with others! 

Does anyone know what the acceptance % is?

 

example - USD 500-600 applicants & 60 student cohort. (10% acceptance)

Just saw my acceptance letter! I can’t wait to meet you all! And for those of you that are waitlisted don’t lose hope. Remember, Rush may be your first choice, but it may not be someone else’s, so keep you head up and think positive thoughts.

 

Ahhhh I’m just so excited- who else is thrilled they sent out the letters crazy early this morning ?

I received my acceptance letter this morning as well and am super excited for everyone, both accepted and waitlisted! We were given two weeks to confirm our spot, so those who were waitlisted I say hold out and wait till then because spots will likely open up! 
 

Looking forward to hopefully forming a FB group or connecting with some of you guys because my next concern is.... who am I going to live with and where ?

Hello! I got accepted too! Congrats to everyone who got accepted! Good luck to those on the waitlist, as many have mentioned don't lose hope many will decline the offer cause of other schools. You guys got this. 

I do have a quick question, by any chance, did anyone also apply to DePaul here?

I’m still debating on what to do - but I will also need a roomie! (First term is online, so we have time!!) I am from San Diego, if anyone is close by and wants to study assuming we accept the letter!

Yes, I applied to DePaul as well. I think they will be sending out their acceptance letters any day now. I follow that forum as well and a few people have received letters.

I received mine and got accepted to both. I'm wondering what are the main differences between the two. Good luck! ?

I have a few friends that are currently attending rush (in programs other than nursing) and they have told me that the Summer term might be the last one predominantly online and fall 2021 may be back to normal attendance. But that’s just based on what they have been hearing. Also some of the programs have been in person since the beginning of the year.

Is first term really online? Cause it will help a lot with living expenses in a sense.
