I just received the official decision, I'm going to be sending an email to -------------------------, the person who initially gave us a heads up that we've been accepted to the program, in regards to Financial Aid. Also, I read the letter but didn't see when we have to submit the intent by, did anyone see the date by any chance?

I got a Financial Aid Notification as well but nothing about any awards. If you don't mind me asking, did you inquire about Scholarships at UIC and they said they won't be coming out with that info until mid-May?

I did too, but I would love to learn more about the program at UIC and its financial package. I'm an out-of-state applicant so the tuition for UIC is more than an in-state student but wanted to see if maybe the financial aid package will be better?

For Financial Aid we were supposed to fill out the 2021-2022 FAFSA., which can be found on the studentaid.gov website. The self-service site is from the Rush website where you can view your Financial Aid Reward Package.

It’s pretty much asking if we want to be considered for the CM program instead of the FNP. It’s not guaranteed, we still have to go through the whole process. They’re also clarifying and emphasizing that it’s not a back door entry for FNP and we won’t be able to switch programs if we do get accepted.. we have to tweak our essays and resume to reflect the CM program more..

I did! I was a little confused at first. I did get rejected from the FNP program.

Yea, I have. Once you're logged in through the self serve website, you click on the 3rd icon down on the left side of the screen (it looks like a bank), then financial aid, then financial aid home. Then it should take you to the page where you can find a hyperlink for the Financial Aid Award. Hope this helps!
