I'm sorry...I thought it was funny/ cute. They probably had a great time doing it and I would gather they are a great bunch to work with...looks like they have fun getting their jobs done and work as a team.

Hcute video, but it's very odd to see a Nurse doing a CNA's job (potty, position, asking about pain). That's not to say Nurses don't make rounds. But if she's doing the Potty and the position what's left for the CNA?

A CNA, what's that? Many hospitals don't have CNAs or else have very, very limited numbers of CNAs. I work in rehab where we would die without our CNAs helping us, but even still I do more than my fair share of turning and positioning and toileting.

When I did clinicals at local hospitals there was often only one CNA for an entire floor with six or seven nurses. Of course the nurse ended up doing 90 percent of the turning, ambulating and toileting.

It's cute, but it seems to me it portrays nurses as someone who only checks for pain, potty and position. Oh, and someone who takes out the trash if it's full. :-(

But that's what makes it so funny to me. It's stupid.

Right! I don't have time to take out the trash every hour, I just look in from the hallway and make sure they're still breathing.
