  1. I sat for the exam in Virginia to be licensed in TX. Took NCLEX-RN on Thursday morning. Waited all of 5 minutes before I was trying the "trick". I got the good message. Official results from BON took 10 days. Nclex trick= $0.00 Unofficial results from Pearson Vue= $8.00 Peace of mind knowing I passed NCLEX= PRICELESS
  2. Hi Ladies, I was accepted into the Generic BSN program for Jan 2012. I was wondering if you guys had seen this post --https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/national-university-class-612463.html I don't know what to make of all this. Just wondering if any of you ladies know anyone in the program that can elaborate on this situation. I plan to graduate with my BSN from NU in 2013 and I don't want any nasty surprises, unnecessary headaches, and/or drama.
  3. This will probably be my last post here... I called ------ to get a complete BSN program cost sheet. I posted it in the docs on our Cohort 29's Facebook page.
  4. Orientation for my cohort (San Diego - 29) is November 30. What campus do you guys attend? What questions do you wish you had asked at orientation? Are you guys dissatisfied because they intentionally lied or mislead you OR is it because of the drastic changes they implemented during your program? I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this whole thing. I'm sorry you guys are going through this...
  5. Hey guys. Hopefully everyone remembered to send a confirmation email to ----. To confirm your attendance at orientation and that you will begin the nursing program in January 2012 you must send an email to [email protected]. One of the following steps must be completed no later than Friday, November 11, 2011: Submit an email verifying you will be attending Orientation and will be ready to start classes in January 2012. This email is required in order to confirm your seat in this Orientation as well as your commitment to begin classes. If your name is not on the roster the day of Orientation you will not be admitted. Orientation is mandatory and you cannot begin the nursing program without attending Orientation. If you would like to postpone your enrollment for a time period not exceeding 12 months you may do so by filling out the attached “schedule change request form.” It is included as a file along with all Orientation materials that accompany this email. Please submit this by the due date above if you wish to postpone your enrollment. If you do not plan to attend National University’s Nursing Program please fill out the “schedule change request form” and indicate you no longer wish to begin this program. Your prompt response is appreciated so that we may have this position open for other applicants ready to begin the program. As a courtesy, please submit this form by the due date above if you wish to withdraw from the Nursing Program at National University.
  6. Depends on what you call an average GPA. Most nursing students make A's and maybe B's, rarely C's. I was accepted into Cohort 29 with a 3.68 core GPA.
  7. The group is National University Cohort 29 San Diego
  8. I have a Fb page. I'm not near a pc right now. Typing this from my Android. If you make one I'll join or I can make one later tonight.
  9. Hi Phegley. Are you taking SPN 341 next?
  10. The teas is free. But they don't schedule you for it until after you have applied to their nursing program.
  11. I take it on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Southbay campus. So far there's only one other person in our cohort there. What night is your class?
  12. My apologies. It won't happen again.
  13. Hi Phegley Its at the South bay campus. class #61508 SPN 340A. Spanish for the Work Place. With ------ Next month I have -------- Spn 341. class #65827
  14. I attended the Nursing Forum last November. I didn't hear about the changes until I joined this site. NU's Nclex pass rate has hovered in the 70's for the last 5 years. http://www.rn.ca.gov/schools/passrates.shtml I'm happy they made the changes, but I can only imagine what it was like for those who were already in the program. It's not what they changed, it's HOW they chose to implement those changes. Nursing Programs change all the time, but usually those changes apply to future cohorts, not existing cohorts. I'm not sure I like the possibility of drastic changes to a Nursing program I'm already in. My heart is dead set on graduating in 2013 with my BSN, I just don't want any nasty surprises. I asked ------- about clinical sites, she said the schedule comes out 4 to 6 weeks before the class. She never mentioned which hospitals. I live in Eastlake but a few of my old classmates lived in Temecula. I'm so happy I was accepted into the program, but at the same time I'm careful with my money.... I don't want to make any mistakes that I can't afford to regret.
  15. I forgot to include the link to the alleged changes https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/national-university-class-612463.html
