jllamoca 10 Posts Apr 5, 2017 Hello BR89,roseman uses the pass/no pass system for grading. For your transcript, I believe they just changed it so it will show up as a 4.0 GPA. Previously, the transcripts would just say "pass" with an explanation as to how the "pass/no pass" system worked. This sucked though because some master's program (not all) would look at "pass" as a C letter grade, which is awful because we know we didn't get a C in nursing school! The current cohorts (1-2 cohorts after me I believe) worked very hard to make this change possible, as we technically didn't get 4.0's on our transcripts before. I only know this from emails I receive as an alumni. And as for the NP program, it should not affect your chances. You end up with a BSN, which is what they want. And now that you end up with a 4.0 on your transcript, this should be no problem either. I also have classmates who got accepted into NP programs with the old style transcript. So there's hope! I am beyond anxious about starting a nursing program as I will be transferring from my BA degree. Also, how were clinical if the didactic portion is mainly online? Any struggles there?
