Rose State Spring 2011

Hey Everyone!!!

I'm getting ready to apply to Rose State's Beginning track for the first time & I'm getting really nervous. Is anyone else applying for the Spring 2011 semester? I have 132 points, but I'm afraid that won't be enough. How is everyone else on points? Also, if anyone one has any tips, I would be happy to hear them :) Thanks!

I dropped off my application yesterday. I was holding out because I wanted to increase my math score and I did it yesterday - so I got max points for my compass scores!!! I am both excited and anxious because now the waiting period begins. Good luck to us all!!

Did you buy a book to study for the compass? I really want to improve my scores but I don't know what to study.

I did buy a book but found a website that really helped me! it is khanacademy.com you have to scroll down to the pre algebra section and click there. After watching each video I would do the practice question. Helped me get from a 78 to a 89 on the math. I really stink at math!

Not yet - My husband gets home before me so I have started asking him every day if there is any mail from Rose....

They should be sending out rejection letters next week! I got mine last spring on April 18th and the acceptance letters weren't received until may 11th!!! Waiting stinks!

So here we are November 2nd - still no news on this end, how about any of you? I know they said before Thanksgiving, but the wait is killing me :)
