Rose State Spring 2011

Hey Everyone!!!

I'm getting ready to apply to Rose State's Beginning track for the first time & I'm getting really nervous. Is anyone else applying for the Spring 2011 semester? I have 132 points, but I'm afraid that won't be enough. How is everyone else on points? Also, if anyone one has any tips, I would be happy to hear them :) Thanks!

A friend of mine who graduated a few years ago called the director of the program and according to her, they still don't even have an official cut off set since there were so many applying. But she did also say acceptance letters would still be on time mid November.

i went by and talked to the nursing secretary yesterday and she said no letters, acceptance or rejection, have not gone out. she said they are waiting on the clinical negotitations to get done (said they are included in the packets). she wouldn't tell me anything else! :nono: sigh!!!!!

Nothing in my mailbox from rose state AGAIN today! Has anyone heard any news???

Still nothing here either! I have to admit I check this board every day after lunch to see if anyone has heard anything.

I wasn't accepted, got a letter saying 132 was the cutoff and I had 131. So hopefully everyone else here got in! Does anyone have any info on the alternate list or anything? It wasnt included in my packet of letters.

Does anyone know if the traditional track can be taken in consecutive semesters? or is it only spring and fall?

I applied with 132 points and I got a rejection letter too! I guess 132 was the cut off and then they went by GPA, so you had to have 132 points AND 4.0, have a 3.6 GPA!?! My letter said I was on the alternate list. So, now I get to WAIT longer to see if I get in as a alternate?

Josh, sorry to hear your bad news, did they tell you that you were on the alternate list too? I dont have any idea how it works, if I find anything out I will let you know.

I have 132, but I have not recieved anything from rose yet. I have a 4.0 so maybe I got in. The wait is driving me crazy too!

Ladydeeb4213- The traditional starts in both the Spring & Fall semesters. But whenever you begin, you have to complete the classes in order. Hope that answers your question :)

It's 4 semesters. So two years.

I got my letter today!! I got into the Traditinal program!!! :)
