Hello everyone! I have been a member on this site for a while, but now can officially join the LPN-RN site! I have been an LPN for 2 years, and will start the bridge program at North Central Missouri College this August. I am married, 14 years, have three daughters ages 14, 11 and 8.

Hello All! My name is Kristin. I am a twenty three year old female who recently graduated as an LPN in May. I didn't take my NCLEX exam as I figure that it will be even more motivation for me to graduate as an RN. I start classes in August. At the moment I am a stay at home Mommy to my three year old daughter and I paint custom shirts to bring in a little extra spending money. Good luck to all of you!

Hello, my name is Jessica and I recently passed the PN-NCLEX . It is hard for me to actually adapt to calling myself a nurse. I will be starting the RN program at the end of August, I can't wait. Good luck to everyone!

Hey everyone and GOOD LUCK! Woo-hoo to all of us! I am not yet enrolled in the program as I keep putting it off, but honestly, being on this site has truely motivated me! I have been a LPN for 9 years and just applied today for a Trauma Care Unit. Got called back within a couple hours of submitting app/resume. I'm crossing my fingers there! Thanks to all of you for the motivation....I plan to do studies at home, if any of you are doing that, how's that going for ya?

Hi, all! I've been an LPN for lots of years, finishing up core curriculum now and will start the bridge program in Jan. Sounds like a long way off, but I'm excited , feel like I am finally making progress. Look forward to hearing from everyone.
Hey again guys. I just found a GREAT site to help with nursing in general and esp those who need A&P to meet RN requirements. I thought I was semi knowledgeable about the human body....this made me feel stupid haha! www.getbodysmart.com it is interactive and even offers quizes! Hope it helps someone.

Hi all, thought I'd "check-in" here as I finally "feel" like a student. Have been a LVN for goin on 25 years and been doin the Excelsior program (off and on) since 1998..anyway only have 5 tests and the CPNE left, will have the tests knocked out by the end of October and hope to get an appointment for the CPNE by Jan. Are there any other Excelsior students out there? Would love to hear from ya and comiserate. BTW, DW does her CPNE the last week in October..she will have completed the program in just 7 months!!! I'm so proud of her.
