  1. Good luck! I took mine today also and had 75 questions. I just felt so unsure about most of my answers. I had lots of Peds and Hepatitis questions! ONly 2 med calcs and several sata. :heartbeat
  2. I've packed on an extra 14 lbs so far. I'll be graduating in May though! The last 3 lbs of my wt. gain is from quitting smoking on Feb 23rd!!
  3. I think SATA is "select all that apply" questions. I'm not looking forward to any of those:banghead:
  4. This is driving me crazy! I study and study and still can only manage to get in the 80's on nursing tests. I started the ADN program in August and made A's before this. I can spit out the information but just can't seem to pick the MOST CORRECT ANSWER on the the test! It's frustrating... to say the least. I've read posts about taking nursing tests but was wondering if anyone else was going through this and if anyone has any advice!
  5. We just finished our first class 270 it covered Med Surg... Acid Base Electrolye Imbalances, GI system, GU sytems and Reproductive. We are now in 271 and are covering PreOp,PostOP, Immunity, Endocrine and something else. We just took out first exam in 271 today over Operational stuff. Our classes are broken down into basically 4 week segments. We have 3 exams and a comprehensive final. Next, we move on to OB in 273 I think.
  6. I am currently taking a class here and there towards my BSN. Our community college offers about 8 that I can complete here before starting the program at SIUE. That is were I plan on attending after RN school next summer. I don't really have a great reason why SIUE other than it is the program with the least amount of hours I'll have to put in to get my BSN. Good luck!
  7. I'm in Southern Illinois and I currently work in Home Health. Eight years ago I started out at 13.50/hr and am now up to 15.75/hr. That is pretty decent pay for LPN's around here. Several area hospitals start new LPN's out at 11.72 and new RN's out at 18.00.
  8. Hi everyone! My name is Kelly and I have been an LPN for 10 years. I've worked in peds home health for the last 8. I will be starting RN school in August and am getting excited/nervous:uhoh21:.
