Roll call Gen. Chemistry 2013...

OK, had my first two Chemistry classes this week. Lecture on Tuesday and lecture/lab tonight. We're getting into conversions next week and I'm not looking forward to it! Anyone else have class this week?

We are pretty much in the same stuff you are doing. It is an accelerated 8 week class. So far I still have an A who hoo! I love chemistry though. Mostly because of the math...what I dont like is the fact we have a ton of homework because it is accelerated. We are getting ready to take our 2nd test. We only have 4 tests and 2 quizzes a week on top of a bunch of other stuff a week. :) so far so good but I am apprehensive lol. GOOD LUCK!

Math quiz in chemistry tonight. 25 minutes for 30 questions is not enough time for me when there are no calculators allowed. I was only able to do 27/30. It was pretty aggravating because I knew the material but didn't have the time to complete it because we have to show all work.

That is cruel punishment. I would mad too! Give me a calculator geesh! Lol

We have two weeks left! Yay..I am sitting at a high B...my pretty little A went bye bye after the second exam lol...but I am good with a B in an accelerated Chem class!

My lab ends week after next, but lecture is going all the way to May 13th. I currently have an A in lab and B in lecture. Hoping to bring lecture up to an A since we have a cumulative 2-part final. We can substitute one exam grade with the portion of our final that corresponds to that unit. Hoping I can bring up the grade on Unit 3 (which I completely bombed). I will be so happy to end this class!!!!

I found the lab to be so easy. I thought that I was going to go crazy taking chemistry and A&P2 at once. But I have good grades in both classes

Ended up with a 4.0 in Lab and a 3.5 in Lecture. Dang...there goes my 4.0 GPA!!! I was 4 points away from a 4.0, too!!! AARRGGHHH!!! Oh well....it's a tough class. Who's taking Chem II in the summer?

I ended up with an A in lab and lecture:) My professor was awesome! Dare I say I might actually miss Chemistry....lol Not enough to take the next class though! lol Now on to Biology for the summer session.

I thought lecture and lab grades were combined? Our lab and lec are combined. Lab is 25% of our grade and lec is 75%.

Anyhow, u did great! Congratulations on passing with good grades!

Unfortunately, at my school, lab & lecture are 2 separate classes. So, I don't get to average it out to an A...boo! :(
