Hi,
Is anyone familar with the accreditation of the Nursing program for the Robert Ross International University of Nursing in the Carribeans? It is affiliated with Seminole Community College in Oklahoma State which has a NLNAC accreditation. Students with this Nursing program would only finish the program there for 2-3 semesters. Does this imply that the International Nursing program is a partially accredited program?
Can anyone explain?
Thanks,
Sherryli
Please be very aware that each state has their own requirements for licensure. Just because you get permission to sit for the exam for one state, it does not mean that you will be able to get a license in each and every other state.
And a sister school is not the name that is on the diploma and the transcripts. Different schools under the same direction do not always meet the requirements for licensure.
The issue that i had with them has been resolved. I am transferring to a BSN partner school May 18th. Otherwise i am packing to leave the island to transfer to my new school. It was a great experience, you do learn alot, however, it was like a roller coaster. I totally hated the island, but once you study and keep focus you will get good grades.

Check out the University of the Virgin Islands. It is much cheaper and you can sit for N-Clex after completing. My daughter toyed with going there. There wasn't a wating list 2 years ago. She found another school, Thomas Jefferson ASN at Geisinger, with no waiting list. Overeall, she's very satisfied w/ this program. She's on track to graduate in May, 2008.
