RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Spoke to one of my nurse's daughter who just graduated from A0 and she told me that Fundamentals is pretty much common sense- its not what you read in the book - she told me you would expect to see things from what you read in the book however its completely different - its straight critical thinking ..sigh -- I just get nervous by the day... Its like we are reading the book now because we have the syllabus...BTW I GOT MY BOOKS ;-) . but WHAT ARE WE ACTUALLY READING that's important to the specific teacher that we have?....

My financial aid appeal was denied. :(

On the bright side MDC isn't expensive compared to other schools. And I finally started working.

I'm sorry to hear that Andrea, but thanks God you have a job. I better save some money. I have to appeal too once accepted. Are you in the full time or part time program ?

So you will be working at night, re appeal again and see what happens. Don't know what they made it so complicated, the program isn't expensive compare to privates school, but anyways it kills me every time I pay for classes. I'm taking 2 pre requirements for the fall and it's almost $800. :(

Has anyone finished all the tutorials?

I have the last two boot camps this Saturday and Sunday. There is no way I'll be able to finish the rest on time.

Classes: (I was only given these options)

NUR 1002 - Trans to Prof Nur: Monday & Tuesday 8am-10:30am

NUR 1142 - Intro Nur Math & Pharm: Tuesday 11am-12:20pm

Clinicians: (There's a list of various hospital sites and either morning or afternoon options)

NUR 1002L -Trans to Pro Nur Lab: Thursday & Friday

*Full-time bridge program (face to face)*

Nope. They told me around mid August. I don't think you need it until you start clinicals, so there is time.
