i once was where you all are and i wish you all the best of luck. I am in the full- time generic program and i have gotten accepted into all 3 programs. full time, part time and accelerated!!! I must say it has been a journey!! IN A MONTH an a few weeks i will be done with my first semester of nursing school.... don't kill yourself too much about your shots. As long as they are in before clinicals you are all set! Walgreens has all the vaccines for cheap & if you have insurance you pay nothing ;-).

I am .. 3 days out of week. 2 14 hours and 1 12 hr shift.

Rent the book ..it will pay off :-)

No problem thank you :-) Cant believe I was were u are now not long ago so I know the feeling...as you can see our thread is dead compared to how active we were..everyone is managing and dealing with their own adaptation with this whole nursing transition lol...so blessed to be in the program ...definitely stressfull... I still work full time and im registered full time...if you can get a little study in at work go for it... our professors are awesome which makes it a little less worrysome but definitely have to be on point with everything ...Good luch honey :-)

Yes very busy OMG ...u dont realize how busy you are until you get msgs from friends and family asking you whats wrong where have you been etc. I study throughout the day.... At least 3 hours in a day... But lately its been 3 hours on and 2 hours off kind of thing since we have an exam every week. Our first fundamentals exam for the full time generic is tomorrow.. im sure some had theirs on today.

How is everyone doing at mdc? How was everyone first exam

and she told me compared to generic, the teachers for A0 baby the students more - as in they are more quick to look over an answer if you feel it should be right rather than the teachers from generic. -_- !! IM GUESSING ITS BECAUSE THEY HAVE SO MUCH ON THEIR PLATES. She told me first semester last year full time lost alot of students...and A0 about 2 the first semester and all the rest made it till the end

Spoke to one of my nurse's daughter who just graduated from A0 and she told me that Fundamentals is pretty much common sense- its not what you read in the book - she told me you would expect to see things from what you read in the book however its completely different - its straight critical thinking ..sigh -- I just get nervous by the day... Its like we are reading the book now because we have the syllabus...BTW I GOT MY BOOKS ;-) . but WHAT ARE WE ACTUALLY READING that's important to the specific teacher that we have?.... also Lisel dont 4get me to email me what we talked about on whatsapp .. it will help alot since im at work ... Gracias chica!

Wow thanks for all the info What did you think of fundamentals? Did you get any A's throughout your enrollment in nursing? Or do you find it difficult to get an A?
