RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

Published

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Just checked my messages to see that the prof has sent the syllabus Yayyyy! This is for the bridge program.

If you are in the bridge program and received your syllabus...under the readings what is Curriculum L1/S1??

Surprisingly im actually calm and a bit giddy for fall to start. Its something new and its like ****, dont know what to expect. Im also at the weekend orientation guys. Ive met a few of you already. I was the black guy who had the beige short, green AZ shirt, and grey jacket. There were so many people there. It was hard to notice anyone.

Ohhhh good thanks... any idea if they send it in the E-mail or they just give us the book in class

They gave us the book list during orientation. Ur professor should email u the syllabus ahead of time, or Ull receive it the first day. They emailed the homestead syllabus yesterday. Just hang tight for a while and u should receive it. The syllabus also has the book Ull need for that particular class.

hello, I would say that getting A's is not impossible, but it's not easy. You will have to get used to a new type of testing, questions in exams are scenario type only, so will need to practice and learn how to answer them. Fundamentals is not an easy class but if you read, practice questions with the pearson program you should be ok. I have been doing pretty good so far, remember that nursing school is not a walk in the park, and C means continued:yes: good luck with everything

Hi dreita...

Can you tell me about fundamental of nursing class.. some people tell is the hardest class other that is only key points based... i will like to know your experience

Spoke to one of my nurse's daughter who just graduated from A0 and she told me that Fundamentals is pretty much common sense- its not what you read in the book - she told me you would expect to see things from what you read in the book however its completely different - its straight critical thinking ..sigh -- I just get nervous by the day... Its like we are reading the book now because we have the syllabus...BTW I GOT MY BOOKS ;-) . but WHAT ARE WE ACTUALLY READING that's important to the specific teacher that we have?....

also Lisel dont 4get me to email me what we talked about on whatsapp .. it will help alot since im at work ... Gracias chica!

and she told me compared to generic, the teachers for A0 baby the students more - as in they are more quick to look over an answer if you feel it should be right rather than the teachers from generic. -_- !! IM GUESSING ITS BECAUSE THEY HAVE SO MUCH ON THEIR PLATES. She told me first semester last year full time lost alot of students...and A0 about 2 the first semester and all the rest made it till the end
