RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

How many notebooks do u guys believe that are we gonna be using for the generic full time? Any idea of what others school supply we need to buy?

Hey!!! I just ordered the scrub tops online today. I know I read somewhere on this thread that some stores will patch on the school logo to the scrub top. I'm going to look back on this thread again but in the mean time which stores offer to put the patch on the scrubs?? Does the store across the street from the school put the patches on???

I just could not buy the scrub top for $35 at the bookstore today because I know I can buy it cheaper somewhere else. Plus if I did the book advance would not have been enough because of books alone and the clinical top. I bought the 2 scrub tops from pulse uniform, the same brand the school carries, I just need the patch embroidered on the tops.

Check at all uniform wear. Call them and found out. The do logos for public schools. If you buy their uniform is $5 it you bring yours is $7

Hello everyone.

The uniform that we need to attend clinical, is there another place I can purchase it ? I have purchased the green pants and shirts from allheart, but I dont think, unless I overlooked it, anyone mentioned where we can purchase the clinical uniform.

I received an email with the syllabi for several classes for the Accelerated option. NUR1025,C,L & (I think)1141. I've got a lot to read over the next few weeks. About 6 chapters covered in the 1st lecture. Should be fun.

I haven't got anything ..I wanted to start the reading but I'm with no clue of what to read... maybe by next week i get something

I'd start reading fundamentals of nursing. If the AO is starting from chapter 1 so will the generic PT and FT. I'd be mother than happy to forward the syllabus if any one wants it. Keep in my though, this is for the ACCELERATED OPTION.
