RN in Fl IPN

Published

I'm currently in IOP and was wondering if anyone has gone through this and found employment while under contract.

Thanks!

That's terrible! It shouldn't be there judgement on what you are in for, just that you are enrolled and compliant. My first job under contract didn't even ask why I was in the monitoring program and my second job the only one that ask was someone in HR, and when I told them for personal issues they dropped it at that. Some people are more understanding that we make mistakes but are working to get better.

I have a phone screen today for a med surg position I applied for 2 days ago:). I'm trying to be optimistic and hopeful that I am given an opportunity. Somebody pray for me.

Happy to say that my screening went well and I have an interview next Wednesday. Wish me luck!

Specializes in PDN; Burn; Phone triage.

Good luck! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Specializes in psychiatry-mental health.

I have been hired for multiple jobs while on probation. Being honest and up front about what happened and also explaining what reparations/changes you have made go a long way.

:) Went to my interview on Wednesday. I met with the director, charge nurse, and two RNs. Thursday morning I was offered the job! I wasn't worried about the offer, I was worried about the fact that I didn't disclose my contract during the interview. I just didn't see a correct time to throw it in there. However, before I accepted the offer I went back to the hospital and found the director. I told her of my my situation and to my surprise she was all smiles and said, "no problem!" I began to cry tears of joy and relief. She said she believed that I had great things to offer nursing and she has my back! AMEN!!! So my start date is September 7 and I am so grateful.
