Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

U.S.A. Virginia

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys! Just praying for God's favor. :)

That's good! I fell in love with the school after touring and chatting with some of the instructors. Well good luck with your TEAS today and keep us posted!

They are so great there! Ahhhh!!!

So I had a couple of questions and e-mailed the recruiter this afternoon. Of course one of those questions was about the # of applications they receive. He said the RN program typically has 100 or more applicants that submit applications. Then he said, on average, they interview double the number of applicants for available spaces. I am planning on submitting my application this Friday or next Monday at the latest. So besides my baby and work, TEAS review is my life right now!

So we basically have a 50/50 chance! That's not bad...but still. You will do great!

Yea I agree, 50/50 chance is pretty decent. I meant to let you all know that orientation would be August 7th and the physical, shots, cpr (preferably) should be completed by then. If unable to have everything finished by orientation, it must be complete by the start of school. Thanks for the encouragement! If it is in His will and it is my season then everything will work itself out.

I agree! And ok cool! Did you ask any other questions?

I asked him how soon after turning in application would I be scheduled to take the TEAS. I also asked him if I didn't get in and needed to re-apply did I need to re-take the TEAS. He said that once my app is processed then they'll call me with a date for the TEAS and if I'm satisfied with my scores then I wouldn't need to re-take the exam (if I needed to re-apply for the January 2014).

Yes! I've been diligently preparing to retake my teas on Monday hoping to knock it out of the park this time!

I thought you were taking it today???

That's the spirit! Were you able to get a hold of the ATI study manual to help with your review?
