Hello everyone!
I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!
:). I work in Newport News (10 mins away from ft eustis) and one of the hygienist lives in Va beach. I believe she leaves the house around 7 but we have to be at work at 8:45. You should miss a lot of the work traffic. I probably didn't help, because I still don't know what time you should leave, lol. The earlier the better, I'd rather be sitting in the parking lot waiting to go inside.
Oh I will! Haha. It's at 10 am! I'm not sure what time to leave my house at because I live in VB And there may be traffic
In live in VB, last week when I went to the open house. I checked online before I left to see if the HRBT was congested..of course it was, so I took the Monitor Merimac. It took meet exactly 50 minutes to get there with a bit of traffic at the high rise bridge. Whatever you do, check online and see what's up with the tunnel.
Oh I will! Now to figure out what to wear...
Business dress, pantyhose, heels. If you look in the mirror and think, damn I'd do me, probably not appropriate.
When I was going to TCC to drop off some paperwork, and woman was going in for an interview...not appropriately dresses, #1 she was wearing hooker heels, #2 the dress was so tight and short that when she walked it kept riding up, #3 more of a night at the dance club than a business dress... shameful.

Awww man, this gave me a good laugh. Although it is kind of sad but a lot of people do not understand how to dress appropriately for the occasion. My office manager from time to time will have the hooker shoes on. *shaking my head*
