Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. Let the applications begin!!

I'm not trying to make it more difficult. Lol. I'm not in yet (still on standby) so if I get in, I know I will take whatever is left. Kaiser was an amazing experience even as a LVN student. They let the students do all the procedures within their scope of practice. I just wanted you all to have the best possible experience.
I really am leaning towards Kaiser, so thanks for sharing your personal experience with them

You could try calling former employers that's how I got a copy if my TDaP! It jade my life soo much easier

I just found it! I t was right in front of me this entire time! I think I am just excited I over looked it! lol

I paid $25 when I registered for American Database. Is that for background check or something? So many things are going on. I got confused. :)
No I payed $98 to order the background check? I thought the $25 was just to register to ADB to have your immunizations on file?

No the $25 was just access for to the website for their annual fee. The background check is $97 and that's when you scroll to the end of the page there's a button that says to place order for the background check
Oh okay I thought so.. I was kinda getting worried! lol

Wow...money again. :( anyway, thank you so much for making it clear. Im going to place an order the background check tonight. Last question, when and where I can get my background check after I placed the order?
It will be worth it all in the end! : )

Everything is so expensive, but totally worth it! Yeah I'm pretty sure Kaiser will go first. I too had to tell my family no Christmas presents this year lol. I'm sure your family will understand......Its going to be difficult to get that priority registration with the titers and then the holidays....I wish I didnt have to wait that long lol
Hahaha, they wont be getting any presents for the next 2 years! Yeah I know they give us such a small time frame, in a couple of weeks it is already gonna be the first week of January. I think we will be fine though : )

Are you going buy your books from school or get them from somewhere else?

Hmm I'm debating. You heard how they said they were gonna do a bundle, so it comes out cheaper? Also how the used books do not come with the cd/media stuff instructors will use. I'm just going to buy the older ones used. The newest editions buy new...Have you found them cheaper?
