Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. I submitted my background check yesterday and did the drug screen today. I have my appointment with health services tomorrow for them to evaluate everything and I already had my CPR card because of work. I also bought my ATI stuff today! I'm super excited to get started.

I really want priority registration. I'm leaning towards Kaiser or Arrowhead as well. When is the last day for health services to be in the office before the holidays?

Hi EMT, did you need the ADB registered email to get your background check? I already registered online and still waiting for the email.

Yes, the email that you used to register with the American database is the email that you're going to be receiving the drug screen requisition to take to quest diagnostics. I submitted the background check yesterday and got the drug screen email sent in the morning

You have to pay for the background check first before they email the requisition for the drug screen

I paid $25 when I registered for American Database. Is that for background check or something? So many things are going on. I got confused. :)

No the $25 was just access for to the website for their annual fee. The background check is $97 and that's when you scroll to the end of the page there's a button that says to place order for the background check

Thats to upload your immunization forms that you will need to scan or fax. The background check/drug test is $97. On the rccnursebackground site, go to place order and you will see it there.

Wow...money again. :( anyway, thank you so much for making it clear. Im going to place an order the background check tonight. Last question, when and where I can get my background check after I placed the order?

You don't go anywhere for the background check because the company does it. You only have to go to a quest diagnostics site listed in the packet for the drug screen

Guys what's so great about arrowhead? Just wondering....I work there now so I don't get it.
