Riverside Community College Nursing Program Spring 2016

Published

Hi everyone!

I thought I would begin a thread for everyone applying to the nursing program at Riverside City College for the spring 2016. Hope we can share about our process here. :)

Currently, I'm finishing up my Anatomy/Physiology 2 and Sociology 100 at CSUSB. So far, I've been doing well, I think haha! If I finish with an A in sociology I'll have a 4.0 for my general eds and a 3.0 for my science gpa. After the spring quarter, I'll be studying for the TEAS exam for a little over a month and take the exam in July. Any advice that's related to the TEAS exam?

Hope we can begin this thread. Best wishes to everyone here!:up::)

do you have a spanish that can add 5

Yes I did add Spanish. I'm really not sure how they added my points I must have miscalculated my points. I will have to wait and talk to Jackie . I did transfer some classes forms csusb so maybe something happend. I am very happy for all of

Some people get the letter later than others. & if you got a denial letter I would confirm your points with Jackie. For our group some of the points were not added correctly and they ended up offering them a spot. I spent a little over $1,000 with the uniform, course points, books, and clinical bag. If I had known I would have only bought the Taylor book and the 3 course points because that's really all we used. Congrats guys and good luck! :)

Enjoy the last few weeks of break while you have them!

So the only buy Taylor and 3 course points? Are the other books available in library in case..? Also curious, how much were the uniforms and clinical bag. Thank you

Hi all, I've been chosen as an alternate. Fingers crossed I get in. Is there a paper with a list of the required immunizations? I'm thinking I will get started on those just in case I am offered a spot.

Thank you for letting me know. I still haven't received an email. I will call Monday to find out what happened. :)

Oops, I misread the initial email response we receive when we first apply. I'm an LVN, so I will hear after the advanced placement exam is given. I guess I will call to find out when I should be notified.

The books are available, you need the fundamentals and the clinical skills book as well! And just the course points. I never opened any others [emoji52]

The uniforms are $50 for the top and $50 for the bottom, and $200 for the skills bag which includes a stethoscope

At the end of our acceptance letter it said that LVNs will get the email on Monday ;)

sorry, I forgot to say the skills book as well. Thats pretty much all we used. The taylor fundamentals & skills book. I would also buy a drug book. It's $50 for the top and $50 for the bottom.

Hi, thank you for replying and I hope you're enjoying your winter break (I'm sure you've earned it). If you would pretty please with sprinkles on top indulge me in one more question...Does it matter if the books are new or used as long as the edition's right? Thank you, Cammy

Hi everyone! I got accepted, looking forward to meeting you all! Has anyone made a facebook page for our cohort yet?
