  1. Hey guys :) I just submitted my application as well and was wondering how you uploaded your resumes and letters of rec to your profile. I can't seem to find how. Thanks!
  2. Hi :) no it doesn't matter if it's used, but the course points have to be new because you need the code. If you don't want to buy a hard copy just buy the course points and they come with the ebook. They let you use your laptops in class so you can always do that. I bought both because I need to have a physical copy. But it was more expensive you can't really find good prices on those books.
  3. sorry, I forgot to say the skills book as well. Thats pretty much all we used. The taylor fundamentals & skills book. I would also buy a drug book. It's $50 for the top and $50 for the bottom.
  4. Some people get the letter later than others. & if you got a denial letter I would confirm your points with Jackie. For our group some of the points were not added correctly and they ended up offering them a spot. I spent a little over $1,000 with the uniform, course points, books, and clinical bag. If I had known I would have only bought the Taylor book and the 3 course points because that's really all we used. Congrats guys and good luck! :) Enjoy the last few weeks of break while you have them!
  5. Hi guys, Make sure you confirm your points with JU in the nursing office. They have a lot of applications, you don't want them to miss something. Good luck! :)
  6. We have clinical Tues & Wed from 8-3pm Thursday & Friday lecture from 8-11 and depending on which cohort you choose we have skills lab from either Monday 12:30 - 4:30 or Thurday 12:30 - 4:30 :)
  7. @lunalove i think i'm going to do the same. I don't want to carry them all so ill keep them in my car and only take the fundamentals with me.
  8. I noticed that on the schedule too. it looks like the first week we're there every day until the afternoon? Are you guys taking all of your books?
  9. Thank you! i was afraid i bought one that didn't work.
  10. it was less than the bookstore ones, but i can't remember how much less. I'm thinking of returning it now :/
  11. have any of you that purchased the cursepoints off amazon tried to see if they work? I got mine from amazon too, but after she said sometimes they're expired i don't know if i should open it
  12. Not all the applicants got in i think there were over 400 and 80 got accepted, but everyone who was talking on this post got in! :)
  13. Hi Joanne_michelle they went over how to log in and use the course points, eportfolio, kaplan, and they also went over some study skills for nursing.
  14. on the syllabus it says read chapters 3, 4, 11, and 25 from Taylor et. al. (2015)is that the taylor, lillis, lynn book?
