Riverside Community College Nursing Program Spring 2016

Published

Hi everyone!

I thought I would begin a thread for everyone applying to the nursing program at Riverside City College for the spring 2016. Hope we can share about our process here. :)

Currently, I'm finishing up my Anatomy/Physiology 2 and Sociology 100 at CSUSB. So far, I've been doing well, I think haha! If I finish with an A in sociology I'll have a 4.0 for my general eds and a 3.0 for my science gpa. After the spring quarter, I'll be studying for the TEAS exam for a little over a month and take the exam in July. Any advice that's related to the TEAS exam?

Hope we can begin this thread. Best wishes to everyone here!:up::)

I'm on the alternate list :(. How many points did everyone apply with?

Congrats everyone! Ari_22, I got in with 83.

How did you get in with 83 and not 80 or 85?

Oh, I only got 3 points out of the life experience category. I believe you get a point for each situation that applies to you.

Agree ! I'll make a Facebook group account for our cohort. We did I that for our mt sac cohort (that of course I will be retracting from ;) )

Good luck everyone I did not get in. Wish u guys the best

Im so sorry. I have been there in that same spot 5 years ago. I applied 2x and I only applied to my current school at the time. Two big mistakes I made. Don't give up and expand your school choices. As long as you have the will there will be a way :)

I haven't yet received an email. Acceptance nor denial. *shrugs LOL :)

Has anybody made an appointment already to start immunizations? I jumped ahead, since I knew we were going to find out by today, and was able to get an appointment on the 23rd to get started.

Thank you. It is my first attempt and like you I have made the same mistakes. I have Made an appointment with jacky to talk about points. I will be getting my CNA and hope that helps. Thank you again for the motivation and good luck. I also got an 83 on teas have a 3.5gpa GED but my sciences are 3.3 I feel like only CNA would give me the extra I need but won't know till I talk to Jackie again good luck ! :)

What was the cut off for points for spring 2016? Does anyone know ? And do you know where a CNA program is offered and suggestions on where to go ?

do you have a spanish that can add 5

Some people get the letter later than others. & if you got a denial letter I would confirm your points with Jackie. For our group some of the points were not added correctly and they ended up offering them a spot. I spent a little over $1,000 with the uniform, course points, books, and clinical bag. If I had known I would have only bought the Taylor book and the 3 course points because that's really all we used. Congrats guys and good luck! :)

Enjoy the last few weeks of break while you have them!
