Hi everyone!
I thought I would begin a thread for everyone applying to the nursing program at Riverside City College for the spring 2016. Hope we can share about our process here. :)
Currently, I'm finishing up my Anatomy/Physiology 2 and Sociology 100 at CSUSB. So far, I've been doing well, I think haha! If I finish with an A in sociology I'll have a 4.0 for my general eds and a 3.0 for my science gpa. After the spring quarter, I'll be studying for the TEAS exam for a little over a month and take the exam in July. Any advice that's related to the TEAS exam?
Hope we can begin this thread. Best wishes to everyone here! :)
Okay, so I just took TEAS this morning and I am not feeling well.. Feeling discouraged! The reading was difficult for me and I ran out of time on math. I am not great in math, so I seriously do not know how I did!! Science all I can say about that section is there were questions in the test that were NOT in the ATI book! Whoever says that everything is there must have received a different type of exam. I studied my butt off for this exam. which gets me more discouraged.. I wont get my scores back until later tonight!
Do you mind saying what was on the exam that wasn't in the book? Not the exact questions of course but something similar. I did some practice questions on a random website that I found and some questions where very specific about the parts of the brain that I know are not covered in the book. Just wondering how in depth it goes.
Thanks [emoji4]
Well basically I got some random questions. I scored good on my science because that us where I focused more on. Didn't score well on my reading, and math I ran out of time as well as many others taking the test. An example would be..." what is the function of the nerve XII? questions like that.. (that was not in the ATI) for science I failed the exam, but going to re take again.
