Riverside Community College Nursing Program Spring 2016

Published

Hi everyone!

I thought I would begin a thread for everyone applying to the nursing program at Riverside City College for the spring 2016. Hope we can share about our process here. :)

Currently, I'm finishing up my Anatomy/Physiology 2 and Sociology 100 at CSUSB. So far, I've been doing well, I think haha! If I finish with an A in sociology I'll have a 4.0 for my general eds and a 3.0 for my science gpa. After the spring quarter, I'll be studying for the TEAS exam for a little over a month and take the exam in July. Any advice that's related to the TEAS exam?

Hope we can begin this thread. Best wishes to everyone here!:up::)

Hey everyone, I was under the impression that we need to have the TEAS test done at the time of submitting your application? I am scheduled to take my Exam this Saturday at cal state L.A and to be honest I wish I had more time. If anyone can help me out id really appreciate it.

No we have until 11/8 to turn in our scores to RCC.

I haven't. I did email the school, to the same address we turned in our applications stating I hadn't gotten a receipt from them yet, but I still haven't had a response. I will be calling if I don't hear something in a couple more days.

I called them today and they said it got received and to not worry if you don't get a confirmation email. But yeah just call to double check ☺

I received a confirmation email a week after I submitted the application. Call to just make sure. The application process closes on Wednesday.

If you paid for the test I think you can transfer your payment to another date. I believe there is a contact email or number to find out, check on the receipt. If you didn't need to pay then you can just pick another site/date. You don't need to take the TEAS before the end of the month. Nov. 6th is the deadline to submit your score. I'm taking the TEAS on Oct 29 in Redlands. I want as much time as I can to study. Hope this helps! :)

I checked my RCC email and the application confirmation email was sent out on 9/11 (at least mine was).

And just an FYI, email says deadline for teas to be submitted is 11/6 not 11/8

Hello,

For those who haven't received their confirmation letter, I would check that the pdf file format that you saved it is the right format and then resent it again. For me, they told me that my application wasn't saved in the right format so I have to redo mine and send it back to them. :p

Didn't end up applying to Mt. Sac's program after all, sorry.

@Fongy

I'm having so much trouble sending the correct format. I have sent two so far and every time I check my sent email, my application shows up blank. Any tips?

Hey everyone, so what are you all using for TEAS?? Momentrix? Mc Graw or ATI?? I keep hearing Mc GRAW is best?? WHat do you all think??

I downloaded the latest Adobe, went to RCC nursing website to download the application, then open that downloaded application on Adobe.
