Hello everyone, I'd like to start this thread for fall 12 cohort. I'm from Bay area and planning to apply nursing program at RCC. I've read that the application should be available on Jan 03, but I couldnt find it. I did emailed ---- yesterday, and he said it would be up today but nothing yet. Where can i download the application. Any inputs are welcome
Hey! I think we find out between late May to late July. I do not know for sure though! I was invited to take the TEAS as well but I declined since I took it already.
I definitely know what you mean about the wait. RCC and CSUSB are my last chances of getting into a program, but I find out in July at the latest for both of them! Its a killer for sure!
Anyway I haven't heard from them, but when and if I do I will post up on here
I am in the same boat RCC and Concordia University in Irvine are my 2 and I will be hearing from both of them around the same time. Best case scenario is I get into both... But I would take at least one. There is pro and cons to both of the schools. I will post as soon as I hear anything too. Happy waitings!
Hi Everyone,
I think I will have about 70pts but I don't think thats enough to get in honestly. My friend said that they also do random picking as well and that when she logged into her web advisor her major changed from pre reqs of nursing to actually RN. Mine has not changed But i am still very hopeful. She also got her letter last year about June 23, so hopefully we hear back soon.
Good luck everyone!
Hello everyone,
I called yesterday and they said we should be receiving our denial/acceptance letters next week via email. ctgangel I logged onto web-advisor after your post... Mine says "AS586 Nursing-Registered Nursing" but that is just an option you can pick there is also a pre-RN (math and science) one, so I wouldn't worry. Good luck everyone! I hope we ALL get good new next week. Please post as soon as you know.

Oh wow. You meant recent! Lol Congrats on graduating! Oh those numbers are WAAAY better than the ones I would have thought. I heard that RCC has an excellent reputation with that nearby hospitals which is why I asked about the new grad situation. Fortunately, I already work as a CNA at hospital, so I hope that would boost my chances up. Was their program difficult? I am still waiting to hear from BSN programs, which I prefer to get into over ADN, but I did apply to ADNs as back up. This is the best ADN program I applied to and I think I have good chances of getting in. My worry is about getting a job after graduation, which is why I asked you about it.
I still wont hear from them until the end of the month or possibly next month. So I wont know I am in until the summer.
Anyway, thank your for your time coming on here. If I have any more questions, I shall let you know!
