Riverside Community College FALL 2012

U.S.A. California

Hello everyone, I'd like to start this thread for fall 12 cohort. I'm from Bay area and planning to apply nursing program at RCC. I've read that the application should be available on Jan 03, but I couldnt find it. I did emailed ---- yesterday, and he said it would be up today but nothing yet. Where can i download the application. Any inputs are welcome ;)

I had the application from a previous application saved and submitted it on the 3rd, but I haven't gotten a confirmation email yet. I know that they are moving buildings right now into a new facility so I'm assuming that this here is the problem.

Thank you for your info, hope you don't mind if I ask could you send the application to my email ting3177@yahoo , I appreciate that.So this is ur 2nd apply. Hope you get in :)

Does anyone know how competitive you have you be as far as points for RCC

Hi everyone! I will be starting RCC's RN program Spring 2012. I applied last semester with 90 points.DarkBluePhoenix, this past semester the cut off was 75 points. When I took my TEAS, ---- said the previous semester the cut off was also 75 points. 1 of my 3 friends on standby has already been accepted with 75 points from standby.

Also, at our Intake Day last month, ------ told us in Fall 2010 all of the people on standby got in, as well as some who were not on standby and originally denied.

Good luck!

Oh. Lol I barely have 75 points. Thanks for the info! You excited to start?

Oh I guess I qualify for the extra 5 points for foreign language!

Do you know if 80 points is competitive enough?

Also, would you happen to know when we find out if we get accepted or not?

I literally just emailed my application as well as mailed in my CNA cert, and all transcripts but to the nursing program only....I hope they get them!

Anyway I guess its just wait game. Since I literally just sent in my nursing app, should I send my ATI scores now or after I get a receipt? Oh well I will just send them in when I get confirmation that they got my application.

Good luck to all that apply and may all of us get in!

OMG we will not hear acceptance/denial until late JULY! OMG how are we supposed to get our CPR and immunizations and crap done with less than a month before fall 2012 starts!?!!?!??!

BTW anyone else applying? Come on people! We are in this together!

For those that need to have CPR: I go to RCC and found this place on the AHA website. They have a ridiculously flexible class schedule. Seriously, they do BLS classes all the time. I scheduled the CPR class when I got home from intake day and I had my CPR card the next day. It is in Bloomington, which is near Fontana, and the instructor is really knowledgeable and she is very funny.

I know you live far away Phoenix, but others closer to campus can actually get everything done at the Student Health Center. You can get all of your immunizations/titers and they also have a Doctor that comes in certain days and can do the physicals.

They just opened the new school of nursing building and it is pretty cool. My name is Leslie, I'm in Nursing-3, if you have any questions, feel free to ask :D

Good luck!

Oh thanks! I am a CNA so hospital I work at requires pays for my CPR renewal. I just meant for everyone else! Lol. Just doesn't seem like enough time. Well I need an acceptance before I can worry about running out of time!

Actually I'm going to the campus this coming Tues to turn in some form to consoling. I'm going to go check it out. Plus I want to make sure everything is turned in.
