If you didn’t get in this time around, think of it as 6 more months you can be saving money and getting yourself to a place where you are even more prepared for the program. It will all work out. Last semester I didn’t get into the bridge at RCC. 6 months later I got accepted to two schools and now I’m able to choose which works best for me and my family. There is no justification for paying 100K for Bachelors degree other than wanting that instant gratification. Even more perspective: Medical school at UCR is around 40K to become a freakin DOCTOR.
At one point I considered private school and the 80K bill that came with it. HOWEVER (I am also in my mid 30's) As of now FOR MY current situation and information I have researched for profit schools and that option is no for me. I know people who have done it in the past who have done great but I also know coworkers and even instructors in the current program who are very unhappy and its discouraging.
I suggest those considering private school/ for profit schools, do your research, talk to current students, new grads and instructors. Look up the current Nclex passing rates. Make your own educated/ informative decision, not from what someone wrote on a forum.

I thought you said you already are a student at nursing school.
How did you get so many 82 points last semester and saying that the cut off last semester was 82 if some students say it was 60 last semester?
Did you just try to discourage me that way? What a person!
I do not really care if you are student or not but what I do care about is that among so many encouraging people in here, there gotta be one, who makes you feel bad!

Hey there!
I'm sorry for the confusion, but the 82 point cut-off was for the ADN program. CEP had a lower cutoff score. I would really appreciate it if you didn't make assumptions about my intentions, I only wish to help.

It is Internet. We should not trust people on the internet. That is what all of our instructors say, right? We forget sometimes....
