I dont know what is my problem. I keep failing Nclex-RN. the last time was march 22, 2011 with 265 questions. I pass my nclex-PN the first time with minimum number of questions which is 85 last July 2010. I work as LVN for 6 and half months but still am not happy still want to be RN now im currrently reviewing for kaplan question trainer and strategy. im a little bit anxious and nervous coz am going to retake my exam 5 weeks from now. monday to friday I am answering 100 questions a day saturday and sunday im in class for free nclex review of content in our area but sometimes I feel tired and frustrated too much information. Feels my brain is dead im tired of studying. that is why i joined allnurses.com yesterday to get some ideas from all nurses who pass. reading all comments helps me give confidents and not to give up. I know that the last time I cannot afford my dream is the last time I try. I really want to be RN!!!!!!!!!!! huhuhu

I went through the same anxiety as you do. You are determined to be a RN and nothing can stop you from achieving your dream. Believe in yourself that you can do it!

Hi aredenyf,
You may want to look at my post "long time lurker...first time poster." As others have posted, do not get into that negative mindset. If you go in thinking that you'll fail, guess what? You'll fail! Be positive and you WILL pass! A prayer to St. Joseph of Cupertino is the icing on the cake for your efforts. All the best!

Maybe what you need is a vacation and a fresh start. Take three, five, or seven days off and totally relax. Stay away from NCLEX study. Work at relaxing and resting and eating and enjoying yourself. Then when you get ready to start up again, start with a look at things as they were and decide on a new plan if that is what you need. A vacation might just do it for you. Good luck.

its how you are attacking the questions. Remember you need to answers the questions as a new nurse. And look for clues, every question at the board is a test to see what type of nurse you will be in a sense. Always look for the answer that will best support the patients well being....and know your core content....you can do a million question. But when you know your core content you can attack the questions and get the right answers...Myself I used saunders it gives a great outline and questions in the book and cd with the different styles of questions. Also hurst review which was part of my program thats great too. Believe in yourself....and take that test and get thoses letters behide your name.
