I am currently in Los Angeles, on a travel assignment. I wanted to know if anyone has heard of a company named Nightingale Nurses. They are based in FL. I am trying to get an assignment back to FL, and I know they have a reputation of being cheap lol. Any guidance on which company I can contact?
If you are still looking at coming to FL, I just received a call from my recruiter (I am not traveling right now) at Intelistaf/MSN, who says they have a lot of assignments here (I don't know where). Her name is Marci Grant and she was very good to me. As far as the company goes, I had no complaints............Good luck! (My name is Erin-just in case-for the referral bonus!)
YOU ARE SO RIGHT .... THEY DO NOT PROTECT THEIR NURSES.... THEY LIE TO ALL THEIR TRAVELERS
True dat. I was told they provide rental cars, license reimbursement and certification reimbursement. Guess what? None of that happened. I was also charged a move-in fee and upgrade fee when they put me in their extended stay housing. The health insurance is not even insurance. It's like a discount card. The housing was disgusting. I would not recommend them.
I have their handbook, I just got off the phone with them after telling them I would not be going to an assignment in California. Problems? the pay rate was 17.50 after all the Stipends. the recruiter had told me that I would be making over 1,000$ per week, then suddenly the take home went down to 900$. When I told the recruiter that an hourly that low, I didn't want the IRS coming to visit....Stay away from them, They like to threaten their Nurses with Lawsuits

I work for Nightingale. They are VERY cheap. Will only put you in crappy extended stay for first contract. Those are usually near airport and not in good area. If you take the stipend its only $1200 a month. If you take the housing you get charged a security deposit and fees, which they don't tell you about. The health insurance is a joke. It is not comprehensive and does not include major medical and is worthless. So you better not get sick or hurt. The only reason I am working for them is that ER jobs in south florida are scarce and they were the only ones who got me a job.
