Hello , You are so right So many new nurses think that getting your RN means they know everything. it take many years to master .During are reason economy alot of management co will threw a new nurse in the charge position. and get rid of season nurses TO SAVE MONEY . The reallitiy is so dangerous . Be careful. Your right mangement will not back anyone .
  3. I was on the deans list and failed my LPN several times.. A long time ago but I finally passed went on to get my RN anD passed it the first time a long time ago ..stress and test anixety have alot to do with it. Do take the refresher course. Before you go take your test . go get a massage... relax....I always told my kids a poem that I keep in my wallet.. IN ONE SUCCESS A THOUSAND FAILURES LIE FORGOTTEN IN ONE FAILURE TO TRY A THOUSAND SUCCESS PREMATURELY DIE ... NEVER GIVE UP GOOD LUCK GOD BLESS ...

Believe me I have been a nurse for over 25 yrs . and have seen everything... poor management, heavy management, unfair treatment , favortism, nurse abuse is very real, unsafe staffing is very real.. Life is a gift dont let anyone take yor presents way . hold your head up high ,be strong ... there are alot of people in your shoes...God is with you .

Please give your self time before committing to charge position you can really put yourself at risk.. management today will not back you up and human resource HR .Is really HR management . ALWAYS protect yourself and your patients .. I know I been a nurse for over 20 yrs .. Nursing is really changing .. and sadly not for the better . management protect there friends .. Good Luck Nurses need a union to protect them ....
