  1. NNOC and UAN, its new partner, are trying to infiltrate Arizona hospitals and our statehouse. If this union is so great, then why do nurses in California keep fighting to get rid of the CNA as their representative? In recent months, nurses at Scripps in Encinitas and Community Med Ctr in Fresno terminated their relationship with the CNA. In the face of defeat, CNA also walked away from nurses at Inland Valley. In March 2009, it withdrew from an effort to represent nurses at Saint Agnes in Fresno. California nurses have been dealing with this union for about 15 years. They must know something about it that nurses in other states, like Arizona, don't know. Obviously, there's something wrong with this union that California nurses no longer want to be part of it.
