Reputation of a travel company

I am currently in Los Angeles, on a travel assignment. I wanted to know if anyone has heard of a company named Nightingale Nurses. They are based in FL. I am trying to get an assignment back to FL, and I know they have a reputation of being cheap lol. Any guidance on which company I can contact?

Nightingale nurses and PPR Healthcare are both companies based out of Florida and tend to have more FL assignments than others. I have not traveled with Nightingale but I have heard positive things about them. I am with PPR and they are awesome! I'm on an assignment in Jacksonville, FL right now with them. :) Good luck!

Go to www.highwayhypodermics.com look at there list of companies. I have chose 3 of the top ten companies to travel with. Talemed has been very good to me. If you need a good recruiter @ Talemed ask for Joe. Tell him that Chris Long referred you. I hope this helps you! Good Luck!

Don't go with Nightingale, esp if your recruiter is Joseph. They totally screwed me, it was my first assignment. They actually never checked my refs either.

They promised me housing, then right before the contract was to be signed and the job to start the next day they decided that the assignment was "too rural" to get me housing. I was broke. They said they'd foot a hotel bill for a week but made me check out from 11am to 3pm every day andI'm a night nurse.

Every day Joseph called and told me I needed another item in my folder to be in compliance and then said I wasn't going to get paid if I didn't get it right away.

I never missed a day and he yelled at me when I was not renewed. He assumed I'd called in sick because my father was in the hospital and I had to keep going home to find a LTC facility for him. I always made it to work and did overtime. Found out they didn't renew b/c the hospital dropped the contract.

I have a friend who is with Nightingale and his recruiter is Joseph......hmmm I'll have to ask him if he's had any problems. I certainly haven't heard him mention anything. I was recently contacted by Amber from Nightingale but told her I'm not ready to travel yet.
