Here's an article from Florida about a brazen political theft from a former state SENATOR with a history of dubious dealings before he was even elected and continuing with the help of the state Republicans to do the dirty on current campaigns!
All over this country, republicans are repeatedly and blatantly breaking campaign laws to not only disenfranchise voters but to enrich themselves from donor monies. AND NOTHING is being done about it!
It's like third world politics in a supposedly industrialized country! With the help of the very same people who they are sticking it to. No offense, but aren't older people suppose to get wise from experience? Is the Florida sun bleaching the brains of its older people?
Does anyone ever wonder if the much vaunted business of all the president's (Trump's) communications has to be recorded somewhere for posterity, will ever be discovered or made available to the public?
Do you think that with his paranoia for NDAs etc and the cadre of criminals he assembled to work alongside him, actually allowed any previous protocols to continue, like white house records?

From the very conception of Democracy, in every country in the world, political parties engaged in the process by having a platform that people liked and will therefore vote for! But, apparently the republican party have decided that it's much easier for them to simply do away with democracy and go the harder route of conspiracy and a creating a criminal syndicate to rewrite laws to win elections as if for some reason, the free press suddenly became blind!
I already have started boycotting Delta and I know friends who have switched to Pepsi and are boycotting all products from Coca Cola. I urge others to do the same!

I am a remembering sort of person and I have lost count of the many criminals he employed or created. Trump is really stupendous and amazing!
I believe people are complicated and should be forgiven for most things especially if they are generally good. Sort of like a cancelation. But, Trump is in a league of his own. Has anyone ever, attracted so many criminals in such a short period of time?

Think about it. How many people knowing that they would be subject to scrutiny and oversight by so many people like the government, the press, independent investigative reporters, other countries and enemies of all sorts, WOULD WILLINGLY place themselves in such a position and then decide to commit crimes?
You absolutely know that there will be records and investigations and questions! Do you have any idea what level of psychopathy you must possess?
And these people still have friends and supporters! What does it say about them? Are they the same kind of people who stood by in Nazi Germany, Franco's Spain, Stalin's Russia? Are they monsters?
I think about these things and republicans terrify me knowing that there's a good possibility that they are like those people and could be living next door. Are liberals going to be the next Jews? When is there going to be another Salem? I am not exaggerating. All these recent shootings. Asian people etc. When will it turn to liberals next?

Gaetz always struck me as a particularly repulsive presence on my TV screen so anything that can be done to expose him and get him out of Congress and into jail will be a plus for the human race. There are two kinds of people - those that care about others and those that don't. About 73,000,000 people comprise those that don't because they elect defective people with criminal thinking, if not flat-out criminals. I don't know why they are so undiscriminating. Our gene pool has become compromised. Gaetz was always consistently a mean-spirited SOB without any intellectual skill-set and I am so unsurprised by this news but remain dispirited that he ever got elected. I use to give young, busy people a ride on making stupid political decisions but I've become much more unforgiving. If you don't know who you are voting for, just don't vote at all. Admit that you are not politically astute and concentrate on your job. It's OK not to vote:)

You misunderstand. I agree completely with you. But I don't know how politics can be conducted without deal making (to get wanted legislation passed ) and the process of making any deal puts the politician at risk of having to accept crap from the other side to get your meaningful stuff passed. It's not a world for idealists.
