Hope she did.

I've heard of folks with worse difficulties getting their licenses.

...and we're dealing with the BON in TEXAS.

People can and do change. Sometimes it takes the long-arm of the law to push folks in the right direction. It happens, though. I'd think the passage of time would work in her favor.

All of this money that you dump into these school and all of that studying? No way. Lawyer up. Fight. At least, if it doesn't go your way you can say that you tried. You fought for that license tooth and nail.

Her last post says she got her license after 4 months.

I know two people from my class that had this problem. Both of them petitioned the court to have the conviction set aside, or "expunged" from their record. Both were then granted licensure. If you can't wait til August, find another lawyer...

Geuss I shoulda looked at the dates!

The school should have helped you with this before you invested the time in the program. I admire you trying to make a positive change and hope this situation will resolve.

That's what I was thinking. At my school we have to meet all the qualifications to sit for boards before we are allowed to start the program. If there is anything that could keep you from sitting or cause your license to be denied, you dont get in.

I can't believe your school took your money and let you put in so much time and effort only to be let down...

I hope there is something you can do to get your license.
